Pretty freakin' good. The saws have a kind of impact I like from synthwave. You really pulled that aesthetic vibe off. It gets repetitive rather quickly though with only slight changes to the main beat, and I ended up tuning out about halfway through for about an entire minute. I'm no synthwave enthusiast though, so It's probably supposed to be repetitive I think? Overall pretty freakin' good.

Im new to synthwave, but yeah synthwave can be repetitive to have a more long drive type
feel (to me)
Thank you for support though! :D

Those are some real phatt bases you got there, not to mention the incredible dark vibe the whole track's got. I love the chords at the beggining as well, really cements that old school technical Neurofunk almost Current Value-ish roller theme. It's a bit short and the end's sudden, almost cutting off but it's really freakin' good as it is.

Thanks for the review! Im a very big fan of neurofunk in general. Most of my stuff ive produced is industrial-esque, but I've tried to turn more towards techy dnb styles. Working on some roller tunes atm

This is really damn cool! The arrangement is nice and has variety, it's progressive, it's fast, it's a lot of things I adore about neurofunk.

Only giving it 4 stars because I'm very butt-hurt about sound design, and in this case the main bass feels kinda dry and not wide enough, I recommend adding subtle reverb or widening effects to make the bass really shine.

And more, the bass itself seems basic, like just some FM modulation increasing and a bit of distortion (though it still technically works). Other than that, this is quite good!

This actually sounds quite dope. damn. It may sound a bit empty from 0:48 to 1:01 though. I'd recommend adding at least some sort of bass melody in that part to make it a bit more engaging. And the mixing is sometimes kinda rough, like from 1:02 to 1:17 where the drums feel buried under the instruments. Other than that you did a decent job.

Well you're only partially right. The ideas are actually pretty cool, but the execution is... well, not so much. The volumes of the basses are all over the place, c'mon you have ears and you can definitely be better than that. You need to work better on your basses if you designed them yourself, and definitely improve on the mixing because they pop out at the drop so loudly it can jumpscare some people, while also pushing back almost everything else like the drums and the leads. If you've heard of sidechaining, use it, it's a real easy way of making drums cut through the mix in a good way to keep the kick and snare easy to hear.

aaa

Chiptune drum & bass. Now that's something I never thought of. The mixing sounds rough but it's just a test so I assume you've worked on it. Sounds like a cool concept, excited to see if you ever make this into a full song.

The drop gives off some serious, SERIOUS Savant vibes, and I really love that.

Least consistent producer in town. Everything's free to use and download, do anything you want. (Yes, GD too.)
