Those are some real phatt bases you got there, not to mention the incredible dark vibe the whole track's got. I love the chords at the beggining as well, really cements that old school technical Neurofunk almost Current Value-ish roller theme. It's a bit short and the end's sudden, almost cutting off but it's really freakin' good as it is.

Thanks for the review! Im a very big fan of neurofunk in general. Most of my stuff ive produced is industrial-esque, but I've tried to turn more towards techy dnb styles. Working on some roller tunes atm

Well you're only partially right. The ideas are actually pretty cool, but the execution is... well, not so much. The volumes of the basses are all over the place, c'mon you have ears and you can definitely be better than that. You need to work better on your basses if you designed them yourself, and definitely improve on the mixing because they pop out at the drop so loudly it can jumpscare some people, while also pushing back almost everything else like the drums and the leads. If you've heard of sidechaining, use it, it's a real easy way of making drums cut through the mix in a good way to keep the kick and snare easy to hear.

So freaking good dude, the drop's awesome!

thanks you <3

I like the instruments, they have a nice harmony going on together but there are too few of them to hold much interest. The progression is nice but the song doesn't change a lot from the same melody which makes it kinda repetitive. The tempo change in the late part of the song could be more intense with more instruments if that's what you wanted to go with.

Overall: It's good, but not great. I recommend using more instruments, basses and a sub bass to make it sound better. And have more variety with the melody, maybe a lead solo or else.
(Keep in mind that my prefered music is Electronica, so i'm probably biased on this)

Oh wow. Thanks for the detailed review. I would try to use more instruments in my next songs :) and I'm sorry for the repetitions ;-; I ran out of ideas tbh. Thanks again :D

Just... Wow... I don't know where to start...

Well, the piano and 8bit instruments blend suprisingly well! And the drums really get the D&B intensity going. And about that melody, it has an epic final boss battle vibe which I really like.
Tho I would like the song to last longer and have some more instruments to build more tension.

Overall it's awesome and I like it!

nstryder responds:

Thank you! I agree, it could be longer and use more instruments.

Least consistent producer in town. Everything's free to use and download, do anything you want. (Yes, GD too.)
